this is gonna be my first post after being hiatus for like I don't know, two years? Well well, so much things going on in my life which made me hard to do stuff like blogging for example (I will tell you maybe in the next post). Anyway, let's go straightly to the core!
So, I came back to Indonesia two weeks ago after two years not coming home (wof!) and apparently, there is some huge trend going on in Indonesia which I did not see much here in Germany: Lip Stain!
Yep! Lip Stain or velvet, some said. Most Indonesians are crazy about it. They told me that this type of lip liquid is different and worth-to-try. So, I tried one! After googling and asking some friends, most of them were into Bourjois Velvet Rouge Edition. One shade in particular is most wanted which is Nude-ist so I give it a try!
I bought this liquid lipstick in one of online shop in Indonesia for IDR 240.000 or around 16 euro. It is a little bit pricey than here in Germany because of the customs I guess. But I am pretty much happy about the price since it is kinda hard to find this velvet lipstick in the counter.
I was so excited to try it and for me when I tried it for the first time, I really like the colour. It is kinda my first nude lipstick which not makes me look pale or "dirty". Well the colour actually it is not that nude, it is more pinkish-nudish-mix-whatever but overall, I like the colour.
Though some said that velvet lipstick is long lasting, I could not find this shade is long lasting. It is faded after hours of wearing and worse after eating. It is gone easily when you eat. So for quality, it is so-so!
However, despite that this velvet lip liquid is not that long lasting, I am happy with my purchase. It has great colour and creamy texture and not make my lips too dry like what Maybelline Superstay 24h did to my lips. Right now another shade is on my way to my house so I cant wait to try it and maybe other colour is more long lasting than this one!
